Role Overview

Accounts Assistant Apprentice (Legal Cashier)

Ascentant Accountancy provide outsourced legal cashiering services to law firms across the country and due to exceptional growth are looking for an apprentice to join the team! Training will include work based learning and completing a level 3 AAT with EMA training. You will complete transactional duties such as invoices, sales and expenses.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Preparing, checking and processing bank payments.
  • Checking and posting accounts payable invoices.
  • Checking and posting accounts receivable invoices.
  • Processing expenses, credit card statements and petty cash
  • Completing bank reconciliations.
  • Ledger reconciliations.
  • Running financial reports.
  • Filing to support department.
  • Assisting with onboarding new clients.
  • Assisting with file reviews and compliance.
  • Ordering stationary & supplies.
  • Assistance with marketing admin.
