Content Planning

Starting with the fundamentals of marketing and branding concepts, you will learn how creative content is used across different channels and platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, email, blogs, broadcast or print. Learn how content fits into a marketing strategy and the importance of brand, and brand awareness, within a brief.

Content Development

As part of the Content Creator Apprenticeship you will learn content creation and content development. Understand the principles of content creation and how to apply them within a business. Learn how to capture a variety of different content, from graphic creation to video shooting and editing. You will be taught the importance of understanding tone of voice, how to apply this to each channel ensuring the user experience (UX) is considered at all times. To ensure compliance, you will gain an understanding of the legal requirements when using media assets.

Content Monitoring & Evaluation

Copywriting, file types and data evaluation are fundamental to any digital role. Within the Content Creator Apprenticeship you will learn about how to understand creative writing styles for online and offline platforms and how to store files securley while preserving quality. By the end of this module you will understand how to manage media assets correctly and effectively report on the success of a campaign and identify areas of improvement.

Industry Awareness

Digital Applications Knowledge

On your Digital Support Technician Apprenticeship course, you will learn how digital applications work. You will study software applications, maintenance of business hardware, software and networks, agile methodologies, Continuous Innovation and Continous Development (CIDC), incorporate digital technologies into key business functions, such as finance, sales and marketing, operations and HR and the implications for their role, digital operations and digital change projects, support internal colleagues to make the best use of the organisation’s technology-based productivity tools and features and key differences between different data storage systems.

Level 3

Information Communication Technician Core Knowledge

Apprentices will study the technical skills needed to help meet the growing demand for junior ICT professionals. The curriculum covers the basic knowledge of computers, mobile device hardware, and software while introducing advanced security and networking concepts and the responsibilities of an ICT professional. Upon completion, the apprentice will undertake a hands-on practical skills assessment which will earn them a Cisco-accredited certificate.

Introduction to IT & Networking

Apprentices will study the technical skills needed to help meet the growing demand for junior ICT professionals. The curriculum covers the basic knowledge of computers, mobile device hardware, and software while introducing advanced security and networking concepts and the responsibilities of an ICT professional. Upon completion, the apprentice will undertake a hands-on practical skills assessment which will earn them a Cisco-accredited certificate.

Introduction to Server Management

In this module, our learners will study a range of fundamental concepts and the technologies of Windows Server administration, Windows-based networking, Active Directory, account management, and system recovery tools and concepts.

Introduction to Network Security

Apprentices will study Defence in Depth, covering and identifying core security principles like CIA Triad, threat, risk, vulnerability, the principle of least privilege (PoLP), and attack surfaces including IoT. Learners will also study Operating System Security, Network Device Security, and Secure Computing. Upon completion of this module, learners will earn an industry-recognised certification.

Level 3

Fundamentals of Cloud Services

In this module, learners will study the basics of cloud computing, and the Microsoft Azure and 365 Cloud Platforms, including virtualisation, containerisation, and descriptions of cloud concepts, such as SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS. Apprentices will learn, cloud deployment models such as Private, Public, Hybrid, and Community clouds. Upon completion of this module, learners will earn a Microsoft certification.

Level 3

Scripting languages for IT practitioners

Apprentices will gain a general overview of the command line interface and the command line scripts. They will study automating tasks in Windows and Linux, file and directory operations in Windows and Linux. Our apprentices will learn how to perform systems administration tasks in Windows and identify diagnostics for networking, file systems, security, and processes. They will also cover, syntax of scripting languages, with a focus on PowerShell, Windows DOS command line, and Linux shell commands, common algorithms that may be used on a day-to-day basis by an Information Communication Technician.

Introduction to Networks

During your Network Engineer apprenticeship you will study the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) curriculum. The first module introduces the architectures, models, protocols, and networking elements that connect users, devices, applications, and data through the Internet and across modern computer networks – including IP addressing and Ethernet fundamentals.

Switching, Routing, and Wireless Essentials

The second course in the CCNA curriculum focuses on switching technologies and router operations that support small-to-medium business networks and includes wireless local area networks (WLAN) and security concepts.

Enterprise Networking, Security and Automation

The third CCNA course describes the architectures and considerations related to designing, securing, operating, and troubleshooting enterprise networks – including wide area network (WAN) technologies and quality of service (QoS) mechanisms for secure remote access, along with software-defined networking, virtualisation, and automation concepts supporting network digitalisation.

IT Law & Ethics

This module will cover a wide range of concepts, approaches and techniques that are applicable to business processes and how to comply with them. Apprentices will gain an understanding of how to develop and align an IT Strategy with business objectives. The apprentice will gain an understanding of how to develop, implement and comply with an IT governance structure developed in accordance with industry relevant Ethics, Standards and Legislation. The module will cover the UK relevant IT Laws and Standards like the ISO 27001 Standard, The Computer Misuse Act and The Data Protection Act 2018 / GDPR

Fundamentals & Adminstering Cloud Services

Alongside the three courses in the CCNA curriculum, apprentices will be introduced to Microsoft Azure’s cloud concepts, core services, solutions and management tools, general security, and network security, identity and compliance features and cost management. In addition to this they will go deeper into Microsoft Azure’s features management and implementation of identities and governance, compute resources, the configuration of virtual networking, and backup resources.

ITIL 4 Foundation Certification

As part of your Network Engineer apprenticeship, you will study the entry-level ITIL qualification introduces learners to IT service management using an end-to-end operating model for the creation, delivery, and continual improvement of digital products and services. This covers the core service management activities and will help you to improve how services are developed.

Module 1 – AAT Level 2

Introduction to Bookkeeping

This unit will allow you to get an understanding of double entry bookkeeping and the basic accounting principles.

Principles of Bookkeeping

This unit will allow you to get an understanding of accounting for payroll, trial balances and posting journals to correct errors.

Management Accounting Techniques

This unit will allow you to demonstrate an understanding of internal reporting, differentiate between cost classifications for different purposes and record and calculate overhead costs whilst processing all of the above on a spreadsheet.

Module 4 – AAT Level 3

Financial Accounting: Preparing Financial Statements

This unit will allow you to understand the basic principles of accounting including VAT and Payroll, complex year and adjustments and the difference between capital, revenue income and expenditure. You will then move onto the production of Sole Trader and Partnership accounts.

Module 5 – AAT Level 3

Business Awareness

This unit will allow you to understand the format of the accounts for sole traders, understand partnership accounts and have a detailed look into incomplete records.

Module 6 – AAT Level 3

Tax Processes for Business

This unit will allow you to understand the nature of VAT, Making Tax Digital, VAT docs, Payroll and VAT errors and will explain how an organisation should interact with HMRC.
